Thoughts as I read The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez

I gave this a 4.5 star rating because I really had fun with this read even though I am not usually a contemporary romance reader. This is my first Abby Jimenez and I would put her in the same level as Ali Hazelwood, in my personal enjoyment of this genre. I found this story to have amazing character development! If you are interested in contemporary fiction with romance & real life thrown about, then this is a great read. The MC is fantastic. She is strong, opinionated, obstinate and all around awesome. We are following a woman who is in a long distance relationship with a career military man and they see each other approximately 2 weeks a year. When she is not with him, she is running a speciality dog accessories business out of her home. Due to a fender bender our MC gets to know her best friends’ fiance’s best friend. And boy is he a stubborn, opinionated, hard working gentleman. These two become friends and then ... well you just need to read this one.
